Every vehicle ships with a manufacturer-recommended oil change interval, usually somewhere between 8,000 and 16,000 kilometres. That number assumes ideal driving conditions: steady highway speeds, moderate temperatures, and no heavy idling.

Stop-and-go traffic, short trips that never let the engine fully warm up, and cold winters all put more stress on your oil than the manufacturer’s test conditions account for. Going strictly by the number on the sticker can mean pushing your oil change frequency further than it should go.

We don’t sell oil changes on a schedule pulled out of thin air. When your vehicle comes in, we check oil condition, look for leaks, and use the spec your manufacturer actually calls for, whether that’s full synthetic, synthetic blend, or conventional.
We’re appointment-only, which means your vehicle gets a proper look instead of a rushed swap. If something else needs attention, we’ll tell you, but we won’t push services you don’t need.
